We've been learning all about 3-D forms in art class. We've started a bilateral symmetry project in art. We learned that bilateral symmetry means it's the same on two sides. We began be creating a half design and then making a mirror image of it by tracing the reverse side of the paper. We are now coloring in our design and paying special attention to making sure our colors stay symmetrical! 25.A.1d Visual Arts: Identify the elements of line, shape, space, color and texture; the principles of repetition and pattern; and the expressive qualities of mood, emotion and pictorial representation.
