In art we learned about the artist MC Escher. He was famous for his tessellations. What are tessellations?! A tessellation is a repeating pattern of polygons that covers a plane with no gaps or overlaps.
We started by creating a template using cardstock. We measured out four inch sections and traced our shapes. We then outlined it and colored it using colored pencil.
