Ms. Tiffany's 3rd grade class once again has used a donation of pumpkins to create a community social outreach project for the Leal School community. First students thought of different ways pumpkins could be put to use and sold to the community. There will be a pumpkin sale with games and refreshments! All the proceeds would then go to the Central Illinois Food Bank to assist in feeding the hungry within our community. I assisted in helping some of the student create string art pumpkins to sell in their event.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with others are central to success in school and life and require the ability to recognize the thoughts, feelings, and perspectives of others, including those different from one’s own. In addition, establishing positive peer, family, and work
relationships requires skills in cooperating, communicating respectfully, and constructively resolving conflicts with others.
